Madera Unified School District is committed to making We Believe News usable by everyone, including people with disabilities and families who speak Spanish.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across this site, in line with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

What we do

• Every story is available in English and Spanish, with a language toggle on each story page.
• Many stories include an audio version in both languages.
• Pages use clear headings, readable text sizes, and strong color contrast.
• The site can be used with a keyboard and works with screen readers.
• Photos include descriptive text where the image carries meaning.

Known limitations

Some older stories and downloadable PDFs from past issues may not yet meet every guideline. We are reviewing and updating this content.
